10 Injured In Mount Hood Highway Crash
Three vehicle crash hurt ten people and closed the busy Mount Hood Highway for a few hours Sunday.
Kacey Montoya interviewed some witnesses and found that Life-Flight Helicopter, some ambulances and swarms of police and fire crews came at the crash, in the community of Rhododendron on the western slopes of Mount Hood.
Two of the victims were so badly injured that they were flown to hospitals for intensive care. The other eight were taken away in the ambulances.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash was towing a horse trailer.
Usual traffic moves very quickly through the Rhododendron area, especially on Sunday when vacationers and weekenders come back to the Portland area. The highway was free after the accident begining with 7 PM.

Please Help A Needy Clark County Schoolkid
An annual program to help needy Southwest Washington children get back-to-school clothing is having problems with cash this year.
Usual, the "Child Spree" program allows those children to buy in one of several Vancouver-area stores for up to $100 of clothing, close that they otherwise couldn't afford. Also in the past, a donor annually contributed 6,000 to the effort.
This year that donation didn't happen, so the call went out for help.This Monday afternoon, Target stores did announce a donation, but a lot more is needed. The Clark County operation is run out of the Vancouver office of the Division of Children and Family Services. More…
